You can purchase fresh mint at most grocery stores in the produce section. For a great mojito, start with a pint glass, then combine:
6-8 sprigs of fresh mint leaves
1/2 a fresh lime, quartered, squeezed, and rind on
2 packets of Sugar in the Raw
then muddle all these ingredients well in the base of a pint glass
you then add:
2 oz. Bacardi Limon (and 1/4 oz. Razzmatazz or Chambord for a raspberry version)
(I personally also like a splash of Cointreau, but that's just me)
and ice. I prefer crushed, but cubed works fine, too-
put a shaker tin over the pint glass, and shake well. Then finish with soda water.
Enjoy!
