I've always been a skeptic but I've also always been curious about it. I don't believe anyone can tell you your future because your future is based on a group of decisions or reactions you haven't faced yet. And nobody 100% can tell you what you're going to do. However, I do believe there are people who have the ability to read your past. Here's when I became a believer. I went to this renouned psyhcic from England, it took 6 months to set up a reading with him. By the time my appointment came up, the girl who had an appointment with me 6 months ago was no longer my girlfriend, so I took a random friend unbenounced to the psychic. The one single thing that made me believe, was during her reading, the first thing he said to her, was that she had had an abortion. She broke into tears, only her, her mom, and the guy knew this, I didn't even know. He went into detail about names they had thought about and everything. It's a creepy thing, but I do believe it exhists because of that one day.

although there are many many many fake and/or unethical psychics practising and giving all psychics a bad name .... and yes there are magicians who can reproduce to an extent a psychic reading
this does not mean that there arent some genuine psychics out there also
i have seen much proof of this ... from my own readings to others and also having readings done myself
i pride myself on being a logical person who would not take any old generalised information as fact .. i have studied with some of the greatest names in psychic and mediumship development as well as studying with the society for psychical research ... who are trained to find fact from fiction on psychical matters
i have seen people being given such personal and detailed things that they have to go ask other family members for validation of this ... this makes for the best evidence when even the person being asked doesnt know of the information given , but can find it through another who does know
i would be happy to answer any other questions you have on the subject
xx

There are real psychics out there but they aren't the ones that sell their gift. I believe that we all have psychic abilities it's just being able to believe in them. I don't have any evidence but it's the same way with religion. They don't have any hard evidence to prove a god's exsistance either. The bibke but that could have been written by anyone.... Different people believe in different things.

I do believe there are people with skills that the average person doesn't have. Or perhaps more accurately, with more DEVELOPED skills that....etc.

I don't automatically assume that anyone who claims to be a psychic is real, and the more skills they possess the more skeptical I am.

But I have had firsthand experience of psychic phenomena, so I know that there is more than our know 5 senses. They're just not to the degree that we see on tv and in books.

It depends upon your definition of psychic. Someone that channels an entity? the spirit of the dead? I think that people have had experiences that has been so far from their knowledge, and the limited scientific knowledge we have gained culturally, that they interpret it in such a way as to better catagorize; or to deal with better. My personal belief, because of my personal experiences, believe that an entity from a different dimension speaks through them. My proof is the ongoing discovery of quantum physics... not solid... yet. But good enough circumstantial evidence to lean strongly towards my idea...

Some people believe in psychics for the same reason that some don't - faith.

When one doesn't believe in something, religion, psychics, whatever, one actually has faith that they are not real.

No amount of evidence, pro or con, will convince either the believer nor the unbeliever.

It is all a matter of faith.

I have the ability to hold an object and get vibes from it, if I choose to concentrate on it's energy. If it's something that a friend might own (watch, ring, book, etc.) I then give them a past, present and future reading. Why do I have this ability? I don't know and yes, sometimes I don't like knowing things.
Everyone has some level of intuition since we're all made of the same stuff.

They believe it because they don't know any better. The main evidence I've seen is the evidence that they're usually just as gullible about other things, too - and a generally low level of education.

My own personal experience has shown me things beyond your wildest imagination. If you choose not to believe in psychic power, then don't. But leave those of us who DO believe to our beliefs as well.
