Even if I thought I was getting something I didn't get. I know in NC you have three days to change your mind on a vehicle. If you decide you don't want it or like it and take it back to the dealership then they are suppose to tear up the paper work.

You do NOT have time to change your mind on a new car in N.C or S.C or any other state in the U.S.

72 hour law does NOT apply to vehicle sales !!!!!!!!!
UNLESS the sale was entirely conducted in YOUR home or YOUR place of business. Not at a DEALERSHIP.

Dealers assign & submit MCO (manufacturer certificate of origin, aka original title ) as soon as you sign it.

An MCO is not something that can easily be reproduced & a dealer cannot tear it up or "white out" signatures.

Also state tax forms & legal finance documents & odemeter statements also get submitted immediately.

I'm not saying that it can't be done, it can sometimes be done , but I guarantee it will cost you a bundle.

Even the new Chrysler "30 day" return promotion is very costly (you have to read the fine print.....I have. )
