I'm a current Witch, and I have seen absolutely nothing in Harry Potter that looks like real Wiccan practice.

I thought this was *over*.

Well, I was never a Wiccan, but I'm a Christian and I love those books. I just don't think they are so great for young children to read because it could influence them. I mean, when they are young and they read that, they might be thinking "I wish I could be like that.." and then end up finding out about the real thing. I just think they should get older and be able to decide for themselves what they want to be, instead of being influenced too early and not know what they are getting into. It should be their choice...

i for my section like Harry Potter extra effective because of the fact i grew up on it, i study all of the books and watched all of the action pictures till now i even heard of the percy Jackson sequence. I allways concept magic grew to become into cool and that i basically like the cool adventures that go on that are solid for just about any age. i additionally appreciate J. ok. Rolling for the existence she has long previous by using and her liturature and how she writes is extra effective. don't get me incorrect, i admire the Percy Jackson sequence, i've got been given an 97% in Anchient heritage and 88% in Latin study in intense college. i admire greek mythology and all that stuff and that i like the finished "they use swords and bows even although they stay in this contemporary international" sense of it. yet over all i choose harry potter.

Ok I wasnt into witchcraft or anything, but I was close.
The Harry Potter Series just tells people that that stuff is ok and that it's just all fun and games...
hm... looks like they were able to convince quite a few of us... However they arent that bad If you know what it is and what it envolves before you read them. Know that it aint something to be taken lightly as "fun".
