I need to know what output I would need from a battery charger to charge 4 AA 2500 mA Ni-Mh batteries. Thank you.

anycharger.

ideally batteries should be gently charged usually ~200mAh to prevent overheating (which destroys the life of the battery in the long run)

rapid chargers charge very fast (1000mAh) but batteries overheat and overall battery life can dimish over time.

i got a charger from these ppl based on recommendations from several (photo) forums

Maha C204W,i use one to charge my 2700mah AA batteries. It works great, has a conditioning cycle, and is worldwide voltage compatible(important if you travel). Check it out at www.thomasdistributing.com.
