Hi, i am a personal trainer and as any health and fitness professional will tell you healthy eating and exercise is the way to go to loose weight. The GI diet is an excellent way to go about it. You have to remember that any 'diet' should be a lifestyle change and not just a quick fix. The GI diet is easy to stick to as the foods you eat keep you fuller for longer. Give it a go, If you stick to it and exercise at a medium intensity at least 3 times a week you will see the results. Incorporate a few weight training sessions in there as well to kick start your metabolism, increase lean muscle mass and burn more fat while you're at rest.

There's a diet that only lasts 7 days and you'll lose 7 to 15 pounds in those 7 days. The diet is listed at worldprayercenter.org

It works but those 7 days will be hard. Especially the first 4.

Well, first of all, you shouldn't be going on any diet to lose weight. The real thing that works is excercise. I'm a dancer, and I eat sooo much but I excercise constantly so I stay slim. And well, you could maybe try eating healthier...I don't know what your diet is, but yougurt, salads, nuts, cheese, chicken, fruit, (especially kiwis and watermelon), oatmeal, and vegetables are all wonderful choices. Good luck with burning off that weight!

The only time I lost a lot of weight was when I lived on my touring bike and had to carry all my stuff everywhere.

Have you ever seen a fat homeless person? No, neither have I, and the fat ones sitting in shelters don't count. Face it the modern lifestyle is making you fat, so get away from it.

I had a look at it and found it too confusing to follow. I just cut back, and hey, 33 pounds later, here I am.
