Ford Australia cant help too old.Its a generic stereo that came with the car from new
no owner manual either.. life sux with out music

Ask Ford Motor Co. or the radio/stereo manufactury company.

There was no Ford in 1988 that came with a factory radio with a code. It has to be an aftermarket unit. You need to find out the brand than contact the manufacture or a local car audio shop that carries that brand.

i know! i had a alpine flip around face and had the same problem i ran around everywhere. i had to send the manufactures all my info AND my stereo for them to recode it. it wasnt worth it to me! i just bought a new stereo and learned an expensive lesson

I would just get a cheap radio to put in it. For all the work you might go threw to get it fixed. It might be allot easier to get a new radio.

try lookin on the bak of the unit and lookin 4 the no. sometimes the dealler writes them on
