I've been seeing the brother of my close firend for a short time now. We've hung out in group situations for about two months, and recently it got a little more personal with a couple of dinner dates (and awesome smooching!). It's been so great-- he's a really sweet guy, we are mutually interested, and I already know that his family are genuinely good people.
He's returning tomorrow to finish his last year at school, but it's away. I'm staying home for school... This is such a new relationship, SO
What are some good ways to keep this good thing going?? How hard do I try to stay in touch, and in what ways..... any creative Ideas are appreciated!!!!
(I really think I could see myself with this person long-term!!)

Just don't break the lines of communication. Keep in contact either by phone, mail or email.
But don't over do it. Don't go crazy calling him every five minutes, mailing him a letter every day. Wait for him to respond. Emailing is the same deal. Don't stress it. You'll overwhelm him and most probably lose him. Go on with your lives as usual.

I am in a long distance relationship for a year and a half now. We have a great relationship, though we only get to see eachother every other wknd. We make sure we talk everynight, send phone texts everyday. Plan your visits, make sure you know what is going on in eachother lives. If you have a problem go to him first, just as if he was there with you. But you have to do other things also. Dont laugh but I send him naughty pics, or texts or write poems. What you do to keep it interesting is up to you. You have to make up for the times when you cant actually touch or hug or feel this person. Its really hard but if you think he is the one then its worth it.

If you have faith in him and trust him not to cheat then go ahead with the long distant relationship it only for 1 year but if your not to sure of him or your self then y'all should take a break until he comes back then you can start up your relationship again

Email or instant messaging is a good way to keep in contact. First get your father's permission though. As long as dad says it is okay, it doesn't matter what mom says since dad is ultimately in charge.
