Have you tried Proactive? It works well, but you have to be somewhat dedicated if you want clear skin. Sometimes it's difficult to get rid of acne (as I'm sure you know).

Or you could go see a dermatologist and ask for professional advice.

Hey Craig, Try not to eat Greasy foods they are really bad for acne, Drink plenty of water, An anti-biotic will help if they have become infected (yellow Head) No harm to talk to the doctor either, Oh try staying away from all those creams all the different chemical are not good, oh and when drying the area pat it don't rub or else you will be spreading it.. hope this is helpful I went through the same thing and guess what I grew out of it Best of luck bud

Hi, my son is 19 has the same problem until he went to the doctors, he is on antibiotics called oxytetracyn they dont cause ANY side affects (depression and suicide) as the docs know what problem some tablets cause. they have taken 3 weeks to 'kick in' he is also on a face cream called zindaclin which again is on prescription which is also brill or a roller-ball called Stiemycin , his doctor told him that the tablets may take up to 6 weeks to work so if you get them dont worry if they dont work straight away, my sons skin looks lovely and spotless but if he forgets to take them he will get spots back again,he spent a fortune on ALL the preparations from cleaners to creams even cover-up sticks that you can buy and are a waste of money, but it is a medical problem and its nothing that you are eating or washing in.. go to the doctors and tell them that you are starting to lack confidence and they will help you.. good luck.. p.s you must think nice thoughts about yourself

Find a cream made up with Aloe Vera and Ti Tree Oil. Use it for only a few days for visible results. It beats all the proprietary lotions and potions. It's mainly the Ti Tree Oil that does it. Not easily obtained in UK, lots in Australia where it's grown (NSW). That's after you've seen your medic first, of course (Ti Tree Oil might not be for your specific complaint). Good Luck.

Go to a dermatologist. They have prescription medication that can help you. My teenagers had it too. You just have to be faithful and use it. Avoid sweets, take vitamins, stay away from soda. Get a little suntan. That helps dry it up and you need the Vitamin D for all over good health.

If its really bad then yes you may need antibiotics. A friend was prescribed these and It did cause him liver problems, a side effect of hwich was he developed a large pair of man beasts so dont go reaching for the pills right away. I used to have really bad acne and used to use all kinds of products then I switched to plain ordinary soap and it all cleared up. Dont't sweat it though dude you grow out of it.

Speak to your doc. I have adult acne (31! I managed to avoid it when younger which they say is often the case.) and take lymecyline/tetralysal which does clear my spots. Also try having a drink of Elderflower presse daily - it slows sebum production. And when people tell you that you will grow out of it - believe them, you will. And if your mates have no spots at the moment, smile with smug satisfaction - they might when they are in their mid to late twenties suddenly develop an out break!

Go to the doctor... Explain to your GP how your acne makes you feel and they will prescribe antibiotics... It will help but be patient. Just try your best to avoid playing with your face and use a good facial wash in the morning and before going to bed.

It's difficult to deal with but hang in there! You will grow out of it...Promise!

Have you tried salt water? My stepson's acne went away completely during a stay in the Outer Banks, he has been mixing salt and water every night since. He says it burns a bit, but it seems to be working.
