I noticed he let another neighbor get hit by a car down the street yesterday. Why didn't he give us nine lives like the cats? Does he like pussycats better or what?

the 9 lives thing is just a myth !
I do wish that less dogs got hurt though.. i love puppies

yes God loves dog and other creatures here...
God loves dog much more than you can do... remember God creates all being, all animals here on the planet and He's the one who provides life to it. He gives life to that dog which you could never ever do to any animals.
The reason why the neighbor's dog died is because that is his will and we have no right to question it
another reason why that dog hit by a car is because God save someone's life, maybe the car should hit somebody in your place and instead of the life of human being be hit by a car he just let that dog be killed in replacement of a certain people... it might be your neighbor, your friend or even you...

Nope he gave them nine lives because they need every chance they can get to get into heaven, dogs are automatically accepted.
