Since you have used a semi-permanent dye it should wash out within 24 shampoos. It could also be because you are not used to such a drastic change in hair color! If you really want to change your hair color bak or make a subtle adjustment - why don't you try the couleur experte by Loreal? You can do a base color (maybe a light brown?) and put highlights on top of that. It should cost no more than $20 depending on where you buy it. Look online at the link to the site below and see if you like it!
I wish you luck! Next time as a general rule - just go one to two shades lighter/darker than your natural shade :) You'll look great, just be glad that it wasn't permanent! You made the smart decision by going semi.

& you could either try to go a shade darker, by using henna powder, from your health food store,as a darker henna will make it look warmer 7 washers out away alot quicker than a hair dye.Or possibly wash it with only conditioner as this won't strip your hair of it's natural oils, rather than using shampoo everytime you wash your hair. The color will fade being a semi permanant quite quickly.Try ringing yout local hair salon for a suggestion & telll them the truth ,usually they are pretty helpfull when you say you are broke & can't come in. I would personally give them a call, or try the henna idea/condition it out on a regurlar basis, but you will still need to visit a hair salon to get back your blonde.Good luck.

I've done this before. I dyed my blonde hair a ashie brown color. It looked awful.
Time to break out some strong soap and wash your hair, then rinse, then repeat.
I did this about 10 times in the shower, no joke, and it faded it really well. The next day do the same thing. You may be alright.

Wash it once a day with the strongest shampoo you have in the house,{after each, comb conditioner through to the ends and leave on for 30 minutes}, it will start fading out, this is just something to do until you can afford to do more color.

oooo that sucks.
you are going to have to go pawn something off like i did the last time i thought i could save some money by doing my hair at home. there is really no fix for it. anything else you do will fry it further and possibly make it look worse. some may even suggest cutting it cause it''ll then cost less to fix. if anything- let this be a lesson to you. you wouldn't spray paint your car even if the package said it would turn out professionally would you?- leave your hair to the professionals too!!

With your hair being naturally blonde, the color probably stained it, and it will take longer for the color to shampoo out. I suggest that you go to the local beauty school and have them use "color erase" on you. (the beauty school will be cheaper, about half the cost of a salon, and the students are supervised) By the way...we dye easter eggs, and we "color" hair. :-)

using cheap shampoo and conditioner will wash the color out. Using VO5 or Suave that will ease the color out. Washing your hair multiple times will fade the color out and once it is light enough, you can dye over it.. but use a golden blonde color.. if you don't, your hair could turn a brassy orange color.
Im a hair dresser, trust me!

Well, I have no idea, but that dish detergent idea sounds like it might work...
I'd say bleach it but that would prolly just make it worse so dont listen to me!
KK and I know this part has nothing to do with your hair... But that person who said you wouldnt spray pain your car... well actually I know a guy who did that and my best friend and I plan on spray painting my first car cuz it'd be entertaining... Sorry, just felt like telling you some people do spray paint cars!

At some places, like at Brooks, they have stuff that you can wash your hair with to remove semi-permantant dye. Or try some really harsh shampoos. It will wash out of your hair, don't worry.

You should try to wash it with a gentle shampoo as often as possible so that the color can wash out. In the meantime, maybe you can wear a hat.
