LOCKERS- They havent existed for many years, security and all.

The best bet would be to see if the Bus Co would hold it at the Pt Authority. Why dont you call Greyhoud or what it is and is if it can be held. Then you would be at 42nd and 8th a good place to start you day in the City.

a locker in nyc - not so safe. trust me. lol

Some stores in Manhattan have bag checks, believe it or not!
I am going to look up the bookstore that I know you can check your bag...and not have to remain in the store. I'm not sure if I remember the name of it - - and even how big of a bag you can leave.
Honestly, your best bet is getting yourself a hotel room to keep your belongings.
New York is NOT the safest place in the world. lol

I'll check back with any info I can find for you!

UPDATE: ok. I found the bookstore. It's called "Strand"
This is the link: http://www.strandbooks.com/home/

Not sure exactly where they are located (been a long time) but, I know they DEF. check bags there and if you leave the store, they wouldn't even know about it.

Check it out!

Hope this was helpful!

There are lockers for rent in the Greyhound bus terminal and at Grand Central Station - the NYC train station.
