My family will be flying into Rome mid April 2007, for a two week stay in several places between there and Milan.

I'd like to find out if there are any special events, festivities, or activities going on during that time.

Don't want to miss anything!

Usually in April there is Easter Day and in Italy is a festivity also the Monday after Easter Day. The 25th April in Italy we celebrate our liberation from fascist and nazist occupation and the end of the 2nd world war. The 25th April is also San Marco, that is the patron saint of Venice, so there is celebrate also this religious festivity.
