Why are good girls attracted to bad boys?

I love bad boys because I feel that they would protect me if needed and I have heard they are better in bed.

That is an illusion though..bad boys cannot be changed - been there -done that. They are the charming ones who at first are able to give you all the patter of the day BUT here is the point - they may well be the ones you perceive can protect you if need be yet they are also the ones MORE likely to hurt you also..

Ogling other women, domestic violence, lying to ya, using ya for sex, abandoning ya if you get pregnant, seeing you as nothing more than a sex object, not calling or being reliable etc etc etc

Better in bed is a nonsense too - usually they have overdosed on porn.. anyone can be good in bed. Know what you like then share with a partner..simple. No-one should be a mind reader in that respect we are all different.

Drop the fantasy and see what is really in front of ya - a B***ard who wants you for one thing... it can only end in tears.

Smart girls don't wear rose tinted specs - they go for a funny, bright and sound bloke who treats them right..

Hun, its that whole THUG MENTALITY that turns you on. While they may appear to be self confident, popular, and carry that BILLY BAD *** attitude, most often its all a ruse. Hun real BAD BOYS move in silence. And a true BAD ***, is actually humble, and of few words.
I'm from South Central L.A (home of the bodybag)...and this sudden media glorified affection for THUGS is nothing more than a way for capitolist to market and reap financial gains.
In fact I'm old enough to remember that being called a THUG, or HOODLUM, would be a quick reason why you wound up on a hospital gurney

The urban myth is bad boys are better in bed, LOL, Ok look at it this way, CATHOLIC SCHOOL girls are supposed to be the biggest freaks in bed of all. So does that make them bad ?

Ask yourself this, would you marry a known gang banger, a dope dealer, or a criminal with a checkered past, simply because of his sexual prowess ?

Can you envision yourself attending his funeral, or sentencing in a court of law ?

Dont be fooled, by common fads, or media spins.
You only get 1 life..live it ..because its not gonna last forever.

Hmm, that's a new reason. I always thought that bad boys would run off with the first available girl rather than stick around to protect you, but whatever you chose to believe. As for the better in bed, it depends on their experience (a little), how they feel about you (quite a bit), and how you feel about them (the most important factor).

But bad boys do appear exciting. But as Bernard Shaw once wrote about women liking bad boys, "They want to find us irretrevably bad, and leave us unattractively good." I guess girls like fixing things, just like guys do. Except guys stick to machines because they think people never change, but girls know better :)

I went along with that myth and it almost cost me a very long and potentially happy relationship. Don't get me wrong there is nothing like a man who can protect a woman, and wont let a woman run everything, but give the sweet sensitive a chance too. Oh and sweet and sensitive men can be taught new tricks. LOL. But its hard to teach a bad boy how to make slow sweet love!

Its the thought of something different and new! I also feel safer with a thug type because I know they will always be able to take care of me. The better in bed thing umm I'm not to sure some are not that good.

I don't agree with the better in bed thing, but I think it's the appeal of toughness and rugged lifestyles that get girls going. There have been a few that I was into, but I don't actively seek them out. Just so happens I'm with 1 now, but that happened by an odd turn of events.

Hun you missed the point. Why are bad boys attracted to good girls? And the answer is, because they will be able to control them and get what they really want, and after a while dump them without any explanation.

actually it isn't associated with natural attraction. most girls WHO find the selves attracted to "bad boys" are really just infatuated with the act of rebellion,not on the boys part, on the girls part.
girls know all too well what type of boy their parents have in mind for them, but being that antisocial behavior is the norm for generations "x","y", and "z" choosing the complete opposite of what the parents want fit the profile. and not only that girls are girls and they have yet to experience the natural attractions of the opposite sex.
hopefully, it passes with experience. but some girls get used to it, feeling that they don't deserve better.
and believe me when i tell you that the "bad boys" will have your back...way back when they feel that they have too much to lose...and honey,more often then not...a girl is not too much to loose when there are s-o-o-o many more in the world.

Been there done that. I'm much happier with a good guy. The excitement of being with someone who doesn't follow the rules wears thin pretty fast, and bad guys are often known to be abusive (physically or verbally) to their "bitches". Don't be a b itch. A good guy who loves and respects you is much better in life AND in bed. (He's actually interested in you physical and emotional pleasure.) And he won't sleep around. STDs anyone?
