Should everyone get a hat that makes idiots underestimate them?

Question

So many people think I look young in this hat. It must be magic. I enjoy being thought of as younger than I am though because people underestimate me and assume me to be unintelligent. I guess it doesn't click that I have a much larger vocabulary than them.

Is my hat endowed with a gift from God, blessed by his noodly appendage or simply a coincidence to make me look younger?
The original question also applies: Should everyone get one so others can underestimate them as well?

I used to wear a baseball cap until relatively recently, pretty much everywhere I went, sometimes sideways, sometimes back to front. I looked like an idiot (I can now admit!) and people

a) thought I was a lot younger than I am
b) thought I was probably some teenage failure

However, I'm pretty successful academically and careerwise, so I always found that quite amusing, and it would often catch people off-guard to find that I knew an awful lot more than them about a lot of things.

I've dropped the hat recently, largely for professional reasons, but perhaps I should try a different style. Maybe a bowler hat. They could do with a return to fashion, I think.

How old are you, by the way? So I know how many years I can shave off by wearing said hat =)

Actually it makes you look a bit girly to me. I don't underestimate anyone. Hat or no hat.
