I used to really look down on that kind of thing, but now I know some really cool people that met really cool partners on-line. So, it sure does make sense. Here's where I lose best answer: not interested, already happily married.

Personally, I don't think so. I have one friend who got into an online relationship and it was a horrible disaster. My daughter is currently in one and it seems to be working out alright, but I'm scared stiff that it's going to turn sour and she's going to be stuck in a foreign country with nothing but the clothes on her back or worse!

I am not interested, but your odds online are probably a little worse online. Go to a site that specializes in online dating. You can even associate the dating site you use with hobbies you like.
