the other day when i went to this bar this 40 year old some guy kept looking at me,and my friend,and eventually came over to talk.
when my friend ann,got up to go to the bathroom he gave me his number and said this is incase you ever wanna sleep around or something then with his hand touched my breasts. i felt real weird and unsure of him.then when i got up he grabbed my butt.well when i went there again last night he of course was there and grabbed me close to him and started touching me in awkard positons.would that be considered assault? what should i do?
I just turned 24 this past month and im a single mother of 2! help!

No man anywhere has the right to touch you in any way especially inappropriately. Don't let anyone do that to you ever!!! If you are uncomfortable tell the barman about the guy. More than likely they should be aware if he is a regular and behaves that way. Flat out tell him when you see him, I am not interested in you and I would really appreciate you not touching me. I am here for a peaceful drink and if you continue to be bothersome I will have to notify the security bouncer. More than likely the bar staff will come to your rescue, if they don't I would call the police because no one has the right to touch you if you don't want them to. In any way not just sexual. Best of luck to you and be strong. Don't let anyone push you around and make you feel uncomfortable.

Have you asked him to leave you alone? If not, that's the place to start.
If he touches you at all after that, you can claim assault. It is hard to prove, but it helps if you make a scene. The next time he touches you, just yell, "Get your hands off me!". Everyone will hear it and turn and look at him. You'll have a pile of witnesses.
This may seem like playing dirty, but I think that being safe is more important.
