The pork is usually from leftover grade-B pieces of meat unfit for other usage. The beans come from a secret part of the pig I'm not able to discuss.

The pork part comes from the pig's rear flank (butt). Beans are vegetables, and do not come from pigs.

Ummmm.....are you serious?
The beans don't come from pork. The fat and meat used is usually salt pork or fatback. It's just used to flavor the beans.

I think it's the same part as bacon, which might come from the side. It's nothing nasty like feet or the snout.
