a GOOD question!

I try to do good with each thought and action in every day. My cause/deity/family/love its all the same... UNITY! I suppose the physical thing that I have done which could be considered my greatest GOOD would be all the time I spent lovingly caring for all types of ill people in nusing home, rehab centers, hospitals. Sadly many healthcare workers do not do the greatest GOOD for their patients, they jut try to get through the day easily, however I made it my goal to make each patients' day at least a little better! :D

The GOOD ACT I have done physically is not to remember doing it for anyone's sake but just for the sake of feeling good and that is never to count.

After our dad died -suddenly- in a car accident:
I put the family before myself.
Put my little brother through college and dental school.
My little sister through (a good) college.
Supported and paid all the bills.
I didn't make them work at all.
Then, I started to put myself through college.
Then got a brain injury and here I sit. (True story)
Working (currently) on my rehab. (without anyone's financial help, eventhough it was asked)
I'm not bitter, because really wanted to do it and have a peace about it until today. No regrets.

I took a man into my house who was just released from prison, he came to my church and I felt sorry for him. two weeks later he dissapeared with my stereo and the neighbors truck. Sometimes you get slapped for doing good, but you can't stop trying just because it backfires, sometimes you can really make a difference in a persons life.

I once gave an old man the heimlich maneuver and saved him from choking... then he sued me for breaking his rib.

I don't have one "greatest good" - just a lot of 'little ones' that I think are more valuable than just one big flare.
