Listen he is 30. You can't change people. You need to accept that he is a baby, selfish, self centered, or whatever. Either you can over look it or move on. Just talk about your futur and what you want your future to be, if he is inflexible on some sort of issue that may be a deal breaker it is better to know sooner than later.

Does that actually bother you? If it does, you should have noticed it before. Ending the relationship is the only course of action. Only children at 30 do not suddenly get siblings and reverse the last 30 years of their upbringing.
If it doesn't really bother you, then live with it.
Either way, it's not something that can change. Best of luck with the guy (I have real issues with only children. They seem so blind to the world. )

That is natural. My best friend growing up was an only child and we had numerous fights because I would not cater to him being spoiled. You either put your foot down, deal with it, or be out!
