I don't want to get out now but in a few months I do. I have a VW Jetta 2005 GS, we are going to get an Accord.

The easiest way to do that would be to trade in your jetta on the accord. make sure you negotiate with the dealer to get as close as you can to your payoff amount for your trade value. be prepared to part with a few grand as a down payment to cover the balance of your negative equity.

Listen to boston... Last time I checked, a lease is a binding contract. By definition, you are not supposed to get out of it. However, I'm pretty sure that in the rare case that you are able to get out of it, a hefty fee will come up. So, my answer to you would be no, but you can ask the person responsible for the paperwork to see how much it would cost to get out of it.

Next time, consider your options before you enter into another lease. You should've checked out that Accord before buying the Jetta.

You can call vw and find out your payoff amount -- look for a phone number on your bill. Then sell the car, asking for the same amount or a little more. Pay off the car, it is as easy as that!

Call the lessor and ask how much an early termination will cost you. They'll be happy to let you know. When you get that number, you'll most likely decide to not cancel.

In Canada there is a great company Leasebusters.com. I haven't found one in the US. Maybe pop them a quick email to ask if they know or or have worked through any.

In future....don't lease. :p
