Clothes are not an important part of who a "good" guy is. If a girl can't look beyond what a guy is wearing, then she probably is a gold digger and very materialistic. Now, I will say that clean clothes ARE important. I don't want'cha stinkin around me :)

If you are meaning character wise on that last bit there, then yea, I look for a guy with great character and mannerisms. Also to have a sense of humor too. Ever hear the saying clothes don't make the man? well its true. I mean you can wear the most expensive stuff and be an ***, doesn't mean I'll date you. But if you have nice clothes, kept clean and washed and ironed then thats cool by me. But biggest thing is just being yourself and thats it.

Well I suppose it really depends on the girl you are trying to impress. To me the brand of clothes a man wears doesn't really matter. It does not really matter if it's the top of the brand, or something found in a department store. As long as you try your best to look as nice as you can when you see your "special somebody" they should like you for you. To me it does not really matter what brand your clothes are as long as you try to look nice and make an effort. Sometimes the guys who buy all the expensive clothes can be worse than the guys who don't. Clothes really don't matter as long as you are considerate and think about the girl. as well as all the other things girls look for, such as your personal hygiene, attitude (don't be too self centred or controlling), sense of humour, etc. Just be yourself and if she doesn't like you for you, then she probably isn't the girl for you. I think- no- I KNOW that girls that are NORMAL usually look for a great personality and someone who can make girls laugh every once in while. No, not a class clown, but someone funny. Also, girls like guys who wouldn't look at their friends, because that's just rude if you're an item. Well, I hope I helped you out!

i don't care what a guy wears.i like guys that are sweet, funny, fun to be with, doesn't move to fast in a relationship, a Christan, a good man that would do anything for me, would not care if his friends made fun of him if he did stuff with me, would treat me with respected, stop when i say stop, great looking, when i get sick he'll take care of me, buy me anything, tell me he loves me, didn't care if a sport ( game on TV ) was on he would stay with me, and didn't drink or smoke. that's my dream guy. that's a perfect man! i wish more were like that! hope that helped. that's what girls look for!

As long as a man keeps himself looking proper and treats a girl with respect it does not really matter if he pays $50.00 or $500.00 for a pair of jeans. There is a difference between a not so rich man who is hygienic and takes care of himself, and a poor man who does not care about himself.

to me the first thing i notice is looks, yeah its kind of shallow but its true... i have to be attracted to him by looks then i think you can feel the chemistry... if your hot to the girl it doesnt matter about what they wear, what they drive or any of the marterialistic things as long as they aren't comfortable with being bums forever... I like them to be sensitive, honest, and have a good sense of humor, and be moving forward in life like wanting to be able to eventually support a family...

well it depends on what kind of woman she is. personally clothes do not make a persons personality any better, who u are inside with or without the best of materials speaks for itself. society has put a strain on first impressions. i mean just because you just got off from work and looking shabby doesnt mean you are a bum. let your personality shine through kmart, target, gucci, louis vitton etc. doesnt matter thats what is left when the clothes come off!

The guy has to attract me phyically befor anything else because the first thing you see is there outter beauty.Clothes and shoes and stuff like that doesn't really matter as long as they are clean and knows how color cordinate.
