If you say that you tried everything, I probably will not be of much help. What i can tell you is that I experienced the same thing and two things helped me. My mind also runs wild about work, relationships, money, etc. while I lay in bed in bed each night. I take 1/2 hour each night before bed to write or type about all of the the things that I am thinking about and what I intend to do the very next day to resolve these things. I also found that it helps if I don't eat, drink or do any kind of excercise (increase heart rate) after 6pm each night. If all else fails, I use a sleep aid when on vacation with family and there is a heavy snorer in the room. Ambien CQ is awesome.

I usually just sit there, and let my mind wander. I eventually fall asleep. If you think about trying to go to sleep, you never will. Just focus on relaxing, which will soon lead to sleep.

Break all town's woods for fire, get tired, eat more than you can, then go to sleep!
