it's not just during joke telling... whenever someone exhibits some behavior in which a girl doesn'

They use it for more then just that. It is really annoying, vague responses drive me insane. Make up your damn mind!

If it's a good "clean" joke sure I'd be a bit puzzled but not annoyed. Girls are too cute to be annoyed at. Also if it's a lame sexually oriented joke forget you mister. I'd kick your butt for trying to make my girl laugh and such sick crap.

It doesnt really happen to me but I would not tolerate it.
If it did happen i would have a ready put down like "its OK, you need a sense of humour to understand a joke so dont beat yourself up about it, its not like youre stupid honey!"
I think what annoys me about this is that anyone, female or otherwise, would act like a stuck up prima donna, pretending you are there to amuse them. Why dont she tell a funny joke if shes so clever?

That "okaaaaay" is so terrible. Especially when every guy in the area cracks up, and the ONE GIRL does it. It's so anti-climactic.
