Some people believe that different colors have psychological meanings associated with them. There are even cultural associations with colors. For example, in the United States and Europe black is often associated with death. However, red is associated with mourning in South Africa. In India, yellow symbolizes merchants but yellow is a mourning color in Egypt.

Bear in mind that Egypt is a Muslim country, so Islamic law applies to funerary arrangements.
Judging by the televised images of Islamic funerals, they wear pretty much what they'd normally wear, except they'd make sure they'd performed the necessary ablutions to purify their bodies and minds before attending.
Here's what the Turkish site I found (the only site I found with any details of Islamic funerary rites) has to say about Muslim funerals:
"The grave should be built and marked in a simple way. The dead body should be covered with white cotton sheets of standard material. Any extravagance in building the grave or dressing up the body in fine suits or the like is non Islamic. It is false vanity and a waste of assets that can be used in many useful ways. It is strongly against the teachings of the Islamic religion and the prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him)."

I think it is white. Because the Egyptians believe in life after death so I don't think black would be a color they will be wearing to a funeral. Think about it Egyptians--Mummies which are wrap in white cloth, clean out, and fill with emblaming fluid to preserve the body. White is also a sign of purity and new life so this seems to be the only reasonable answer. If not then I will be surprised.

I don't know the answer to this question - but I just want to say it really pisses me off when someone asks a question like this and a whole bunch of people, with no clue what the answer is, make random guesses (without saying they're guessing) to pick up 2 points. The consequence of those guesses is that now that guy asking has no idea which answers are right. We're meant to be answering questions to help people out.
