The Bible teaches that we are made in Gods image so that can only be true if he does indeed have a body of flesh and blood - resurected of course. I don't understand how so many people can miss that. Where does the idea of vapor come from? Woops, sorry I guess I answered a question with a question!
Uh Oh sounds like some people need to read the new testamant and the Bible. Why would God say he was sending his son thousands of years before he was born if he wasn't really his son?

So, let me get this clear you are saying that if God does not have a body like ours he cannot have a son? So therefore you are claiming that God is limited to being able to create a son only in the same manner as humans, hmmm, sounds like you don't have much faith in God's power. Surrender to the will of God don't presume to know the limit of his powers

No, God is not human like us. Jesus is God's Word made flesh, through His mother, Mary.
The Holy Spirit, which is God too, impregnated Mary, who was a virgin, and this is how she was still a virgin after giving birth to Jesus, because she had not had sex to get pregnant.
God's word had to be born a different way, to show Man that we too must be born a different way to enter heaven. This is how we say that Jesus is the Son of God, because He was fathered by God's Holy Spirit, and a human.
All of God's creations are sons and daughters of God. But Jesus IS God in human form. Before Jesus, God was invisible to man. God's word came to Adam and Eve, and they could see Him, until they fell from grace. Then they could only hear Him. When they fell from grace they lost eternal life, and God had to come to earth as Jesus to show man how to once again regain eternal life in paradise.

God is not Human. He omnipotent, meaning he can be everywhere at once. Jesus is God in the flesh. If you look at the book of John in the Bible the first verse is "In the begining was the word...." then John 1:14 goes on to saying, "and the word became flesh." What this means is in the begining was God, or the word and he transformed himself into flesh, Jesus. God had to send the perfect Lamb to be the ulitmate sacrifice for our sins, so he came to Earth in the flesh form of Jesus and was crucifide for our sins. (as in the old testimate, they could only sacrifice perfect animals for the forgiveness of the sins) I hope this makes sense of some kind, but if it doesn't please email me and I can further explain. megwilliams1080@yahoo.com
Another good source of information is a local church. Most pastors can take a minute out of their day to make sure you understand the key to your salvation- Jesus Christ.
God Bless!

Jesus was born of a human mother. Jesus is God. He was also 100% human. Humans are made in Jesus form. It's just not human like ours. Maybe just looks the same.
The Bible says he has emotions. He laughs and cries.

I believe that Jesus became completely human in order to qualifiy as an acceptable sacrifice for our sin debt. I believe Jesus, God the Father, and God the Holy Spirit exist inside and outside of time.... eternity past present and future.... as Spirit but able to take on any form They choose.

Looks like you've reached that stage of Islam where they're forcing you to challenge Christians about Christianity. Next week they'll have you quiz us about the Trinity, and the next week they'll make you memorize little bits and pieces of the Bible in order to back up the repetitive regurgitated arguments required to get your degree in Islamic studies. What kinds of rewards have you been promised for coming here and trying to take the Christ out of Christianity? It's OK. We understand. You're just doing what you're told.
Peace

I'm a Christian, and I think He does have a body, not exactly like ours, because ours can die, and get sick, and such, so there's bound to be some fundamental differences, but I think it's very similar to ours.
but it's true that there aren't very many Christian denominations that believe like this. I can't say I really understand it either.

Yes. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ both have glorified bodies of flesh and bones. After the resurrection, we may too.
