You will not get that information on this site. It's a little thing called security, something the US has to learn.
Try contacting the British Army though the official channels, you might get some good news. Or try contacting the British Embassy who might be able to point you in the right direction.

I don't think the army will give out personal info. It breaks data protection laws, plus security etc.

Don't think you'll have much luck as there is no such thing as the English army, its the British army.

In theory, all you would need is his service number. I'm not sure if there is another way. I know that if he doesn't want his name on the voters register, he doesn't have to.
