My boyfriend has had a ping pong looking ball in his leg. He has had it for nine years and never bothered him. About three months ago it started leaking a clear fluid but it still didnt hurt it just got smaller. What scares me is that about two weeks ago it started having a very strong bad smell coming from it. Could it be cancer?

i would get him to a dr asap.A strong ododr is a sign of infection.If infection goes untreated could cause alot of problems.He could get really sick from that he could get blood posioning or something called gan green which could lead to amputation that happened to my grandpa.You say its clear liquid leaking thats how it starts and the more infected it gets the liquid will turn to pus and will start leaking either green or brownish color.I dont know if its cancer or not.Its been 9 years since this started he should have been to doc sooner.I am not trying to scare you but this could turn into a serious situation.Please make appointment to get him in.Good luck to ya

heh....sounds like a cyst.....kinda.....if its the SIZE of a ping-pong ball, i would def worry.....he needs to see a doc one way or another....leaking lymph fluid and smelling bad reeeeally sounds lyke its infected......which will almost definatly require a prescription antibiotic.....and if, being a guy, he thinks it will go away if he ignores it, tell him that infections usually get worse and CAN KILL IF IGNORED!

Not necessarily.. I have also that predicament... And remains in my legs.( the dark scars) but that is not alwys cancer... ask your boyfriend to see a doctor,,,,
