My mom recently had Urinary Tract infection which was severe ,but she is fine now and have no symptoms of it.She is complaining now of waist pain,thats the lower back,what could be the reason?

still the UTI in her symtoms, she may be feeling better but i get alot of back and abdomon pain after getting one, it will pass, try using a heating pad

There could be several reasons: 1)a kidney infection from the UTI, what is the pain like?; 2)referred pain from the bladder to the nerves of the low back causing low back pain; 3) something not related - did she hurt herself??

She could have a kidney infection. Especially if her urinary track infection was severe it may have turned into a kidney infection as well

Have her try drinking cranberry juice, it should help with the pain as it washes out the remainder of the UTI.
