Ever read the Book of Judges? Gets kinda gorey. Especially with the story of Deborah when she drives the tent stake through that one evil dude's forehead. Messy!
I'm not joking! That is actually in the Bible! It is only an example too, there is at least another one like it!

Favorite? Too hard to answer. But I like the book of John, and I recommend it the most often because in it Jesus says who He is and what He wants us to do. I often ask people to read it and then make a decision, rather than to argue over various points and positions. Jesus speaks for Himself.

That is like asking what is your favorite part of life. The gospels explain what the prophets in the old testament told would come to be, Acts tells us what the church should be like today, Genesis explains the mystery of the purpose of man...I guess JOHN, it shows what true Love is like.

The Gospel of John. It's a great book for understanding how to get to heaven thru Jesus.

Probably the book of James. One of the most encouraging, yet concise, books that gets right to the point.

I like John mainly because it portrays the life and role of Jesus as a teacher. It shares his new command to love each other and talks about our role in sharing the Word of the Lord. It is also full of memorable quotes to guide our lives.

Revelations, that's something you can read over and over. You have to read the Bible from begining to end to get a lot of it though.

Not sure. Anything in the Old Testament though because those are the ones with the good stories that are very fascinating.

Revelation, because it speaks of death and destruction for all the heathens in this world. So basically, we're talking about 5 million people dying.
