getting outsized from a company where I went home with headaches daily and anxiety. Best thing that happened to me was getting out of that hell hole.

I'm in a job I've been in now for 6 years and still love as much as I did the 1st year. Challenging and pleasurable. No headaches and primadonna corporate whores.

First Data Resources SUCKS!!

Yes.

Right before the war in Iraq started, I was talking with the US navy about an officer commission in the Civil Engineering Corps (the officers for the SeaBee's).

I filled out the forms and had interviews with several Navy Commanders and everything went well. All I had left was to go to MEPS and then reports for Basics in Florida (this program had a 2 week accelerated basic training program rather than the normal several month program).

All of a sudden, my recruiter never called me again. About a month later, the war in Iraq started.

If the President asked me to join the military, I would still go. I do not believe in the war in Iraq, but I still believe in helping my country if it asks for it.

Who knows how things would have worked out if I had gotten in the military and went to war. I was disappointed at first, but when I thought about it, I thought maybe someone was watching out for me and my family. I didn't call the recruiter either...I figured why push a bad situation.

One time I got this really sarcastic response on Yahoo Answers, but over time I realized that the sarcasm was well-put becuse the question was poor, leading me to a nice period of self-reflection and improvement.
