Actually many people sell used college books on e-bay and at amazon.com.
Good luck with it.

Check all sites, especially Barnes & Noble or Amazon.com. You need to look at shipping & handling costs and used books too!! Shipping & handling can be big expenses!! Or go to EBay and buy direct from those students who want to sell the books!! Books are becoming very expensive buy & shopping around does pay good savings!!!
Remember "A mind is a terrible thing to waste"! So study hard!!

Go to ecampus.com... If u have the isbn number search by it your results will be a lot better. They run different prices depending on which edition u need. They sale them new and used. They new ones start about at about $70 and used ones at about $40. I ordered a lot of used books from them and they were in very good shape. Hope u find what u need!

half.com is excellent--however it is NOT a part of Amazon.com it is associated with ebay.com. I bought nearly ALL of my textbooks from half.com. YOu can select from brand new, like new, good, or poor condition. I nearly bought "poor" condition, because they were the cheapest and they were NEVER in poor condition. I don't know that these sellers consider "poor" condition but they were always in great shape for me. But I bought several $80+ value books for $10-$15 on average. It is great.

Amazon, Ebay, Barnes and Nobles, and Half.com are the major popular ones. There's also websites that might be suggested online or by schools you could use.

try campusi.com, they usually give you a list of places to get the best deals. good luck
you'll need an ISBN number, so it might be best to go to a book store and get that information BEFORE you go to this website...
