There is only one God, and yet there are three distinct persons in the Godhead. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
God the Father: made the heaven and the earth and everything in it. All creation finds both its origin and its fulfillment in Him, its rightful heir. He is the beginning.
God the Son:It is through Jesus Christ ( the son ) that we know the Father ( God ). Through the son ( Jesus ) we see God incarnate, living among us, loving, suffering, dying, and reclaiming. The only begotten Son is the Lord Jesus Christ. By the miracle of the incarnation, the eternal Son of God came from heaven's glory to be born as a babe in Bethlehem. He grew up as a boy and lived as a man without committing one single sin. He claimed to be God and He performed many miracles to prove it. The people of His day, however, refused to believe His claims. They rejected Him and crucified Him. But in His death He paid the penalty for our sins. He then arose from the grave, demonstrating that His sacrifice satisfied God's righteous demands. As a result , salvation is now offered to everyone as a free gift from God. We can be delivered from the power and penalty of sin by believing in Jesus Christ as Savior. God the Son, the eternal Son of God, became a man to redeem us. The invisible, omnipotent, omnipresent, and eternal God was so revealed in Jesus Christ that on the night before His crucifixion He could say to His disciple Philip, " He that hath seen Me hath seen the Father " ( John 1:1-2 and 14).
The Holy Spirit: The third member of the Trinity is God the Holy Spirit. He is the one who was sent by the Lord Jesus to be our
" Comfortor ". He does for us now what the Lord Jesus did for His disciples when He was here on earth. The Holy Spirit burns the truth of God upon our minds and hearts. He convicts us of our sin and enables us to believe on Christ. He baptizes us into the church the moment we are reborn. He makes His home within every Christian. He dwells within us to comfort, guide, sustain, and strengthen us, and to bear witness to the truth. Because of His indwelling presence, we can have victory over sin. And we can serve the Lord successfully by His enabling power.
God is not man-mind creation. God is very real. There is a pattern throughout Scripture; there is " The Father " ( who has never been seen ), there is " The Son " ( who has been seen, and who makes Him known ( John 1:18) and comes among His people ), there is " The Spirit " ( who is unseen, yet lives within and equips every Christian ). The Trinity is basic to our Salvation, for these three persons in the " One Godhead " have combined to save us from our sins; in " the will " of the Father, the " saving work " of the Son, and the " indwelling witness " of the Holy Spirit ( John 14:16, and 23-26 ; Romans 8:16-17 ).

Science can explain just about every aspect of the human body, save one, how do thoughts come about? who is the thinker of the thoughts, what makes a person think. Thus, by the absence of a scientific answer, let "god" fill in the blank here.

Let's see, your logic goes like thus:
Assume: P -> Q
Then: P -> Q
Ya, the logic stands out, but what are you trying to prove?
