Go, big red. So many people don't realize there is a difference between ignorant and stupid.
As for "forgiving" stupidity, I'm not sure what you mean. It would depend if the stupidity had caused a problem, or if the person's just generally stupid. That's not something you really can forgive as much as you have to accept, like, "Look, the guy's an idiot; what can you do?"

Forgiveness has to do with banishing hurtful incidents into the past. You do it for yourself, so you can stop the harsh feelings that will eat away at you, shortening your life. I knew a woman who was angry every day of her life. She suddenly died at age 62. The couple who used to own our house were the most hostile people I ever met. Very, very bitter. He developed brain cancer at age 62, then she suddenly died just before he did. Amazing. Not for me, pal. There are plenty of horrible things in this world. Stupidity is easy to walk away from. Here's a tip that will make your life a lot better: immediately forgive the little things, especially with family and close friends.

I'm forgiving you, so does that answer your question? We all make mistakes-even some logical ones and think "Wow-what a dumbass"-we're only human-so if you don't forgive then your pathetic-because at sometime and in someplace you've done or said something stupid, and for you to claim otherwise-is BS-and you know it.

I forgive people.
If stupidity is a deliberate act (as it frequently is in this corner of the Internet) people deserve the responses they're getting.
