3/ Don't use heat (blow dry or flat iron) every day...instead, wrap hair at night in a silk scarf and bursh out in the morning.
4/ Pink oil is a daily hair moisturizer...use the size of a quarter so that hair is not weighed down....
5/ Regular salon visits (every 4-6 weeks) for trims...

You probably used too much. I always used Lusters Pink Oil, I never had a problem with it and I have a good grade of hair. Use "Just for Me" hair care products for the kids.
