If you're asking if you can go out on a date on the internet, then no. I don't believe that.
Can you get to know someone over the internet? Depends on if you believe them and they can back up their stories. There are a lot of whacko-s out there and not to mention a TON of pediphiles! Be careful and maybe try dating people you can meet in person.

As far as meeting someone online then dating them in the real world, yes. My husband and I met that way 5 1/2 years ago. We have been married for 4 years now. :o) Just be very careful, lots of freaks out there.

They are great for initial contact, but real *dates* call for more than electronic contact. They offer the chance to exchange ideas before folks judge each other physically.

no, i prefer keeping net for no purpose chat and not for serious issues like dating and marriage, but i think it's sometimes work.
