Seeing as how he proved his existence to all those guys that wrote the bible, why shouldn't he appear to the rest of us? What made them so special that they get proof, while all we get is... faith?
Put 2 and 2 together, folks. It doesn't add up to 3...

I don't think that God is into the glorification business -- that is a human endeavor that we have projected onto Him. The proof of the existence of God is in the near future, but not everyone will accept the truth. Why is He going to give us the proof? The love philosophy has failed, and He is sorry that so many of his children are being sent back to Him too early. So, God is going to expose the Truth, and set the deal: Live in peace and I will prevent Armageddon; continue with this nonsense, and I will suffer your extermination.

Haha! You either been reading my questions or we think alike! I would have to say of course this would glorify God. It would also unite the people of the world. We'd all share 100% the belief in his existence. This would go a long way to narrowing the divisions people create between each other (i.e. race, sexual preference etc.)

No he would not be glorified by having to prove his existence. He did that years ago when he was up on that cross and praying for the world rather than himself. He will be glorified if we trust in something that can make us believe and be glorified ourselves.

God is glorified regardless.
God has also proven his existence and does so everyday. Whatever would happen, that would "reveal" his existence to those who've refused to acknowledge it up to this point would fabricate some other story to debunk it all over again. There is always those rebellious children who will simply refuse to obey the Father anyhow.

By whom? The people who believe in him glorify him all ready.
Okay, I'll agree just because you asked and I don't know where this question is going.

God's glory is not dependent on our belief, or lack thereof.
Consider Job 35:5-8 -- "Look up at the heavens and see; gaze at the clouds so high above you. If you sin, how does that affect him? If your sins are many, what does that do to him? If you are righteous, what do you give to him, or what does he receive from your hand? Your wickedness affects only a man like yourself, and your righteousness only the sons of men."

Ahh, but would it not glorify God even more if we believed in Him and put our faith in Him without seeing? If He revealed Himself to the world, would that not negate our free will in that we would have no choice but to believe? It brings more glory to Him when people believe in Him without seeing Him. If EVERYbody saw Him, they would have no choice to to believe, or be regarded as either insane or a liar. God bless!
John 20:29
Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."

Do you think he's in it for the numbers? Do you believe such human concerns and the number of people he has worshiping him are important?
Besides, unless he altered their brains and took away free will, he could never get 100% of the people to believe.

Yes of course. However, that is only true in my humble opinion, if 100% of the population chose to follow Him of their own free will. (or one might say GOD given free will) To love something just because it is known is not the same as knowing something and loving it still.
