I just moved to los angeles from toronto. I noticed so many different races. i get the typical white guy, black guy pick up lines.. but i wanna see what other races are like... what do you ladies suggest? should i stick with my own white kind or date a different race? if so which one? hispanic? black? chinese? japanese? filipino? other asian?

ok, let's be straight up. i am a white female, and i have 2 children from a black man. that man ended up beating the crap out of me. my next relationship was with a white man, and he ended up cheating on me after a few months. don't base a relationship on race. i've learned that color means nothing in a relationship...it's all about how they treat you...i know that's not what you wanted to hear, but i know from experience. if you want to get out and try it, then more power to ya. it's your decision. but don't base your decisions on race alone. follow your heart. oh, and don't listen to that "legend" about black men's um....you know... it is absolutely not true!!!

Well, I'm filipino and would say that. But to be fair to all, don't look at it as the produce aisle. Just meet someone and go out. If you don't like their personality, move on. Don't use race as the first criteria. Surprises come in all shapes, sizes ... and color.

Why don't you base it on some other feature. Maybe like chemistry or future possibilities.
