Depends on your doctor.
And i would certainly not prescribe you any, you need a psychological approach first then you can be aided with a small dose of either Valium or tafil. depending on the evaluation.
see what keeping you from sleep.
stress?anxiety?
Clinical insomnia is in most cases never the issue the patient really needs to evaluate his or her self for relief.

thank you for the question, good luck.

Its interesting that your last question involved asking for narcotics and highly addictive muscle relaxants, and this one is asking about highly addictive benzodiazapines. If I were your doctor, I would not feel comfortable giving you Valium, considering you are already taking a narcotic - Vicodin, and are interesting in combining that with Soma. As I hope your doctor has told you, the main treatment for chronic back pain involves therapy and anti-inflammatory drugs, not narcotics. Long term use of both Vicodin/Soma and Valium can lead to addiction, and will decrease the effectiveness of other pain meds. I'd recommend avoiding those medications as much as you can.
