I went to the beach this weekend and its a dark color that you cant even see anything below . Last month I was in miami beach and you can see everything below you. What makes corpus beach water so dirty?

Probably pollution. The Gulf of Mexico pretty much "spins" in circles, it has only 2 air currents, while the atlantic has several and all the "stuff" can get swept out into the ocean so it doesn't all collect in the same place. That is one reason why I don't like going to Corpus because the beaches are dirty.

Because its not really a beach if its in the gulf, which Corpus is. Look on the map, its just a wide circle open at one end. The water doesnt really circulate that much due to currents and its also a major port, unlike most recreational areas.
