Any woman who dresses provacative is looking for attention that means positive as well as negative. But I agree that woman should be able to dress in whatever manner they choose. They should have the sense that if they are showing what is no longer left to the imagination there will be stares and comments. So, unless they are willing to fight off these "certain" men and deal with their stares as well as the others they should just stop dressing "that way" or at least know what their up against. I don't or wouldn't say they are idiotic or lying. Women do feel good when they are wearing something they like that makes them feel and look good. For some women this might mean feeling confident and empowered. As long as they feel good who are you or I to say they don't.

I agree with you up to a point, but you're wrong about one thing. Women do dress up to make themselves feel good. Actually, so do some men. I think that dressing well and looking good is and should be a thing that people take pride in.

Having said that, women do also dress well and look provocative to be noticed. There is a big difference, however, between getting positive and negative attention. Looking is fine, staring is not, etc.

In some cases the guys tend to look in the wrong way. Some with look of "Damn I she's fine" or "I want to hit that tonight". It's all about how you look at them. It's hard to do, I know, but do the looks in moderation.

As far as the dressing routine, it's for various reasons. Trying to get a guy, getting over a bad situation, getting back at someone, or like you don't believe "To feel good about themselves". It's all about the attitude a woman has and the way they go about their actions in that sexy outfit.

Women do dress for themselves, to not believe that is idiotic. And yes, they would get angry when certain men look because no one likes to be checked out by a creep.

Because they only want men they are attracted to to look at them. If a man they do not find attractive looks at them they don't like it & get offended.
Women dress to look good to make other women jealous of them too, so it may not have anything to do with trying to get a man's attention. Depends on the situation.

1. Women don't do that, girls do. It's a maturity issue.
2. Some women do dress for themselves and to make themselves feel good. Don't generalize all women to fit your narrowminded perception of what they may think. Also a maturity issue.

cause you're not the man they want looking. Problem is, they only want certain guys to look, only the guys they're interested in. It's a little game they have.

I prefer women to be comfortable. Give me a girl in jeans and a t-shirt anyday. And a ball cap with their hair in a pony tail hanging out the back...now THAT'S sexy.

I do dress to make myself feel good bout myself, it's the leering and all that i don't like. When a man looks at me, fine, no matter what he looks like or who he is. It's the cat calls and trying to touch me that I have a problem with.

I wonder that too. You get called a sexist pig if you point that out, that they dress provocatively and then get pixxed when guys look. I think its just one of those screw jobs that happens, you just have to accept it like income taxes--they will dress to make you look at em and then get pixxed off at you when you do, and thats just the way it is.

I am a woman. This is what I think: Dressing provacitivly is to get attention, then getting mad over being looked at is also a scheme for more and more attention. We women love attention.
