word combination in the english language? It was once said by a famous linguist that out of all of the numerous combintations of words in our language that the words "Cellar Door" were the most beautiful...What do you think?

The person who said that was not a 'famous linguist', it was the writer and poet Edgar Allen Poe.

As for the most beautiful words in the English language, as far as I'm concerned they are
"Garlic mashed potatoes".

Well you obviously got that from Donnie Darko, and the person who said that was actually Tolkien. I think this is a very objectional question, and to find people to agree on one word is almost impossible.

That have 2 ~S~ (doubble plurals and it measured a MILE.
