if my father was active military when he died would i?

have any military points when i apply for s job at a va.hospital??
he was army actually wounds he sufferd in vietnam cause uncontrolled diabetes do to shrap metal in his spleen and other areas caused his death but he was still in the army at time of death frank robert schiaretti was his name

I don't believe that you would get points for that. If you were to be applying to the USMA or something like that then yes, you would get points.

If you were under the age of 18, or under the age of 25 and enrolled in an accredited college or university, when he died there may be some benefits to which you are entitled. Check with your local Veterans' Affairs office.
