Great Question, I'm a ghost hunter, and I hear the very same question at least 10x's a month. I however say who really knows except those whom have passed on to where life after death leads us. Now I've seen and have taken pics. of ghost's and studied for over 10 years.And death after life varies,.Depending on what happens to the spirit after death, Ghost's ?They are not having a good time. Although free roaming spirits, seem to like to get away with doing things that freak people out. I believe it's done so we the Living in the physical get Spooked, and their having a great ole' time with watching us go through the events of Paranormal activity. And then there is the spirits on whom have for whatever reason have ended this life early, and join the next before their time. Because that's a different life after death realm.And ending this life cycle sooner then suppose too,become disoriented and very lost, and what Ive seen very confused,very sad, And we are all here for a special reason. To do? For what? How? For how long?with who?For who? No one knows. But the ways on how the living left this physical world, makes the differences on their well being, state. when reaching the next dimension, hope I helped.from Denver

Death for the Christian is better than life on earth. The bible says to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.To take ones own life is a sin though.

Death is worse if you are an unbeliever. If you are in Heaven with God the Father, the Holy Spirit, and Jesus Christ, death is much better than life could ever be, because it is not an eternal death.

In most cases, yes, who would not rather live than be gone?

But, what if you are dead and in God's memory, awaiting the time when you will live again? You are no longer suffering from what you endured while you were alive. And, being in that memory, then you are assured of a resurrection.

In that case, death is better than life.

if you die you rest in peace and you are free from the sin of this world. But if you are you are still in life you will face difficult times and you will be ruled by the power of sin.You have to go to work in life and you can never get the rest yiu want unless you die, you have to work hard to get food for your family.When you are dead you rest in peace and you don't have to do anything that goes on in life. so make up your choice which one is worse life or death.

Death is null and void. There's no mind or existence after death. Since we don't exist after death, death is neither better nor worse than being alive.
