Basically, spicy foods are the only foods that increase metabolism. Spicy stuff is "hot" in more ways than one. It actually raises your body temp a little bit. This raise in temp requires the burning of calories. This type of metabolic boost is called thermogenics, and it is the reason some people take cayenne pepper in capsules. If you just want to lose weight, adding fiber to your diet will also help. It makes you feel fuller, and helps push your food through your system faster, so your body absorbs fewer calories.

Food isn't going to increase your metabolism, at least not to any significant point that would give your "weight loss" results.
The only real way to "boost" your metabolism is to gain muscle. So exercise - the more muscle you have the more calories your body will burn 24/7.

Types of foods will not do it - how you eat, amount of muscle, and genetics (which you can't control) are about the only things that will change it.
