Jesus walks through the inn door with three nails in his hand, wlaks up to the innkeeper and asks, "Hey, can you put me up for the night?"
You're giving human emotion and situations to a God that you claim is allmighty and ethereal. How very arrogant to assume such things, wouldn't you say?

Yes, Christ Jesus our passover had been sacrificed.
Soon, when Jesus judges his churches, the true Christians will survive, as the blood of Jesus only covers the repentant ones, the angel of death will eliminate the false Christians; Matthew25:34-46; Luke 12:45-48; 2Thess.2:1-12; Daniel 7:9-14;Ezekiel 38:18-23...for a few..
Ezekiel 9:1-11 ..six men (angels) coming from the direction of the upper gate..with his weapon for smashing..'Pass through the city and strike..put a mark on the foreheads of the men that are sighing and groaning over all the detestable things that are being done..and to these other ..Pass through and strike..and from my sanctuary you should start..Defile the house and fill the courtyards with slain ones.'
Your idea about bets, does not seem realistic. Jesus died for the love of God and mankind.

I figure if you're curious enough to ask the question, you need to ask it of a priest or minister.
The "trinity" means God is all 3 entities, he is the father (God), the son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit. So how could there ever be any bet if it was the same person.
Jesus is in essence (because of the trinity) the head guy now...and so is God...duh.

You started out OK with your question. But the rest is blasphemy! I know Christ was crucified! He died for your sins, and mine. And NOT because he lost a bet! He loves you, in a way that no one on earth could ever love you, even though you are a sinner. And Hew wants you to spend eternity in heaven with Him. He died a horrible death for you! I pray you can love Him back, and ask Him into your heart. And ask His forgiveness. God bless!

Read Matthew chapter 27. It tells about the Crucifixion. No he died so that we could have the forgiveness of sins. There was no bet. He knew he was going to die and why. God sent Jesus for this reason.

I think there is evidence that the man, Jesus, was crucified on a cross. It was a common sentence of death at that time.

Jesus died on the cross to pay the price for our sins. He rose again and is now in Heaven. He will come back soon to take all His children home to Heaven. Won't you come to the Lord now, before it's too late? Believe me, you do NOT want to go to Hell!

if Jesus didn't die on a cross our faith would be vain told Paul in his first epistle to the Corinthians(chapter 15)....It's Satan who lost the bet, I wish I'd seen his face when Jesus died....He lost....Jesus won the great battle. yes Satan said I bet you cannot do that...But Jesus did it. He saved us. Read the Bible, you'll see this is all true.

G-d is G-d. G-d is one. Well, as I do not consider Jesus to be G-d, I guess it doesn't matter to me one way or the other. But, if I had to envision it, I like the Muslim concept-----it was all an illusion.
