I have been wanting to get a mercury cougar(1999-2002). Right now I have a honda civic that is green and it's got 17 inch yellow rims. I have a few other things done to it but that's it. People around where I live call me the john deere girl. What do you all think of a new car.

I was just thinking of a cougar because my cousin has one and it is nice.She hasn;t had any problems yet. I am still deciding!!!

Megan, I have a couple of friends that have that generation of Cougar and they both love their cars. It might not be as reliable as those boring generic cookie-cutter cars, but it certainly has a lot more style.

youre a complete moron for wanting the cougar. Theyre terrible, worthless cars with absolute **** resale value. Any American made car (not truck), with few exceptions, made before 2000 (including models that bubbled over, like this one), are pretty much trash. Your current civic will do you better. If you want a different car because you dont like yours, sell it and buy something else economical, like another civic, or a camry or something.

Get another Honda. Just get a better color. I recomend the S2000, but any Honda will do. You will not be happy with the Cougar after owning a Honda.

if you want reliable,easy access for maintance for the technicians to work on your car,and high manufacture warranty,TOYOTA or LEXUS are the one.want more proof,look up consumer reports and they will tell you all the problems that car manufacture have compares to TOYOTA or LEXUS. most vehicles start using Toyota parts in their vehicles such as HONDA,GM,CHRYSLER,BMW,MERCEDES,DODGE,FORD,LANDROVER,and KIA
