They shouldn't think they are being a riot, because that is very mean.
I am sorry that you have to hear things like that from ignorant people. It is a sad thing when people forget that the majority of the American population came from, and are descendants of immigrants. I don't know if you are an immigrant or of just Mexican or Latin heritage, but I am truly sorry that people look at you, and say cruel things.
Seriously, just sluff it off, and realize that some people only know what they know, and they have not been educated. Also, please know that some people may look at Hispanics differently because there are a number of illegal immigrants that have moved to this country, they work 10x's harder, for much less pay, and have thus taken some jobs away from the people that wouldn't work as hard, therefore those people are bitter. But that is not your fault.....the only thing you can do is be the best person you can be, make a positive contribution to the human race, society, and this country....and show all of those people that they were stupid in underestimating you.
Just respond with positive actions, not negative feelings or words. (And to be honest, feel bad for those people.....cause they need to learn the true importance of life, being, and humanity)

Welcome to the world of humanity.
One of many reasons that illegal immigration must be stopped and reversed (send em' back) is so that legal immigrants are not mistreated out of the ignorance of not knowing they are here legally. I am assuming your are here legally, of course.
If not, what I have to say to you ...could be interpreted as being mean.
