NO, it does not make you evil. It makes you a concerned brother and she should be happy to have someone like you in her life!

While I understand that she is feeling that you're limiting her friends and trying to control her personal life, I think that you're doing the right thing, because there's no way to know who is on the other side of the net. Most likely, her friends from the net might be fine, but you never know if the real evil guy is the one on the next email.
Good luck!

There have been enough cases of predators on the Internet, chat rooms, etc. who have posed as someone they're not that she should be very very careful who she gives her information to. People can be too trusting when it comes to the Internet...since she's in the comfort of her home she may not be aware of the dangers. Beware of really EVIL people.

You are not evil at all, you are just looking out for her best interest. Perhaps she may feel some envy towards you or even jealousy. Are you much more stable in life than she is? Also, she just may want you to but out of her business.

No you are right! You shouldn't give any personal info to anyone online or meet them. I would tell her parents. Someone needs to protect her. One day she will relize you love her and that is why you do what you do.

It makes you a very concerned Brother and I commend you for doing so!
Too many times, we lose our Children to predators on line, because those preteens and teens, think nothing of giving out personal information to strangers who "chat" with them, because after awhile, familiarity strikes them as being "friends".
Older adults pose as children to lure them into situations that are dangerous and can be often times with fatal consequences.
Keep telling your Sister that, and inform your Parents of what is happening! They should be kept informed of all things going on with your sister, when she is in chat...
(I banned my teenager from being on chat, when I found out what "she" was doing! Things I dont consider appropriate for girls giving out information to anyone...including my phone number!!!).
I wish you well..
Jesse

You acted in the manner you did for her safety. She is incapable of appreciating your good intentions. Do not worry Even if she called you evil. Some day she will realize this.
