What about PRO-LIFE!

Pro-Choice IS Pro-Death.

Can you imagine Jesus running an Abortion Clinic?

Don't kill your babies! What about the baby in your womb, why do the weakest and most needy have no rights?

There ARE other options,

I am pro choice. To me, it is not a matter of religious beliefs. It is the fact that I do not believe the state has the right to dictate to a woman what she must do when it has to do with her own body. Christian fanatics are pushing this whole issue.

By the way, I would never have an abortion--but the state cannot tell me what to do.

Pro-choice.

In the first trimester however, I have no problem with abortion. After the first 3 months it would have to be extremely exceptional as it would be very unusual for a woman NOT to know she was pregnant at that stage.

I think there should be defined limits (as there are). It should be guided by our understanding of developmental biology, I guess. When a baby is capable of independent life and is capable of feeling pain or suffering then this should not be allowed unless there is risk of death to the mother, or the child would have rapidly fatal disability.

I dont know. I believe in life but also know enough about medical emergencies where some doctors may advise abortion to save life to understand that aspect. It also raises questions about the capabilities of prospective parents and their finances etc.

Then there is the whole debate about at what point a fetus constitutes life and all. Another aspect is how many of us consider ourselves capable parents (dont answer until you have seen all your kids through college:) ) and the tremendrous responsibility of a raising a child. All these and other factors make it as personal a choice as religion (or the lack of it, that too deserves equal respect). So maybe leave this for the immediate family and pray and hope that they make a right choice? for them?

P.S: This question sounded more flippant than ernest. But yes it is an important one.

Pro Life

Religion does not influence me on this. I work in a neonatal unit and see it is a baby not a choice.
The destruction of a infant whether in the womb or out of the womb is a tragic thing.
While trying to sympathize with the Mother I have to ask what crime has the fetus/child done that is worthy of death. Yes "It's your body" BUT it is also the babies body too.

To say "there will always be abortion" follows the logic there will always be murders so might as well make them legal to.

I am pro-choice for woman and agree with the person who is also pro-choice as long as it's not used as a form of birth control.

For my own personal self though, i am pro-life; but will not preach, it is my own personal belief.

I am not pro abortion but I am pro choice. It is a personal decision and no one else's business. There will always be abortions, legal or not. The legal ones now sure beats the hell out of coat hangers!
